Medicare Supplement Plan G’s run around $200/month in the state of Washington. Medicare Supplement Plan N’s run around $140-$150/month. This savings can really add up especially if there are two of you in your household. The differences between the two plans? With the Plan N you may have up to a $20 copay when seeing a Dr. at the doctors office and there is a $50 copay for the emergency room unless you get admitted. Lastly, there could be an excess charge of up to 15% if the doctor doesn’t take Medicare. Very few doctors function like this and we have never had any of our clients charged the excess fee.
