Rick started helping people plan for long term care in 1995. Rick had worked in a long-term care facility and saw how people’s lives were turned upside down by unexpected events and lack of planning.

This led into Rick assisting retirees and pre-retirees in health and wealth planning with Senior Solutions Group, specializing in Medicare. The last couple of years the company has expanded into a family business with offices in Yakima and Bothell, WA.  All of us at Senior Solutions Group are continually striving to help empower you to find the best insurance options. We are independent agents who work for you.

Rick has been helping retirees navigate Medicare and assisting with retirement planning since 1995. Rick is passionate about serving others with a complete retirement process, including health and wealth planning. Taking care of each client like they are family is his top priority. Even though Senior Solutions Group has a nationwide reach, Rick really enjoys being a Yakima Medicare specialist. Rick loves to be involved in his local community of Yakima, WA, enjoys travel, the outdoors, serving at church and spending time with family.

Tanya MacDermid
Tanya brings years of organizational and administration experience to our team. She is passionate about the behind the scenes work and seeing our clients served well. Tanya really enjoys helping her husband as he helps others with Medicare. Yakima has been a wonderful place to raise their kids and call home. She enjoys being involved in their local church as well as serving in the community. Their grandchildren, three adult children, two sons-in-laws and two dogs bring her great joy.

Tammi has a background in Operations and Business Management. Knowing Medicare and Retirement Planning can be overwhelming, it is her honor to partner with you to create a unique plan to meet your needs. Tammi also enjoys event and party planning. Currently living in Snohomish County, WA, Tammi’s family includes her husband, three adult kids and one very needy super cute dog.

Anna has a diverse background when it comes to insurance benefits. With experience in human resources as well as both the medical and dental fields, this allows for her to really help clients understand and maximize their benefits. She is excited to establish long term relationships with each of our clients and help them as they need. Anna and her husband are both from the Yakima Valley and enjoy their two beautiful children, two darling dogs and 5 scrumptious chickens. Her hobbies are all things that include being with her family.

Michelle has a very diverse background when it comes to helping others due to her 11 year service in the Military, Army National Guard. While serving in the Military Michelle worked as a Dental Technician out of Camp Murray Washington and the Yakima Training Center. After volunteering to be deployed she went to truck driving school in San Jose California and ended up stationed in Taji, Iraq. Michelle is very passionate about helping others and looks forward to helping our clients with their Medicare needs in any way that she can. Currently living in the beautiful city of Zillah with her husband, 3 young children, 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Destiny brings to the team great experience from working in the long-term care industry. She started her career in Assisted Living and worked her way over to Skilled Nursing. She has a wealth of knowledge that greatly serves the clients of Senior Solutions Group. She excels in assisting clients with answering billing questions, or simply explaining the coverage they have. Destiny was born and raised in the Yakima Valley, where she is now raising her 2 boys. She loves to be out on the water with her family, whether that’s fishing, boating, or just enjoying a nice hot summer day.

Cristina comes with many years of experience and passion in helping individuals with understanding Medicare and their coverage options. She has a great rapport as a trustworthy and caring resource and is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. She is a great listener and will capture your needs and interests to provide top notch service with her knowledge. She was born and raised in the Yakima Valley and currently resides in Yakima. She loves and shares a spiritually inspired life with family and her four dogs. With a smile, she always enjoys helping others.

Chuck’s passion is helping people. Joining our team to assist with prescription drug plans has been wonderful. He is patient and kind, helping clients through the process of finding just the right plan. Chuck continues to work in Real Estate, as he has for many years. He loves history, hiking and going on vacation with his family. His favorite people include his wife, Tammi and 3 adult kids.

Frankie loves people and brings years of wagging joy to the Senior Solutions Team. You can find Frankie greeting at the Yakima office a couple days a week. His hobbies include, but are not limited to, running, eating, going for walks, spending time with his family, chewing bones and long naps in the sun.
