I recently had a client that emailed me, thanking me for helping them find a Medicare plan that fits their lifestyle.
From the email:
“Just want to say thank you for your help in making sure we had the right type of plan for our life style. We are back in (State) visiting our daughter and her family and were to be heading back to Yakima, but my wife found herself in the ER with subsequent emergency surgery Monday morning. Thanks to the way you advised us the hospital talked like everything should be paid for since we have already met our deductible. At this point it looks like the only added expenses will be the unexpected week extension to the vacation. I praise God for people like you.”
I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to know that I am making a difference with my clients Medicare coverage. It is so important to look at all Medicare options for your lifestyle. Will you be traveling much? What medications are you on? Do you care if you if have a deductible? What are my co-pays going to be?
We often hear, “my neighbors have such and such Medicare plan and it is cheaper, I want that one”. Or “my sister has a better plan than me, why?” It is not a one size fits all when it comes to Medicare plans. Maybe your neighbor doesn’t take as many medications as you and doesn’t need the same coverage. Maybe your sister is a retired teacher, which allows her to qualify for other plans.
Make sure your Medicare plan is suitable for you, not your neighbor or relative.
